Gerann decided to propose to his girlfriend Stephanie during their trip to Cappadocia. And he reached out to us to immortalize these moments. We talked about what kind of marriage proposal he had in mind and made suggestions accordingly.
It was important for Gerann that the proposal was a surprise and that his girlfriend did not suspect anything. He wanted it to look like it was not a planned photo shoot. He said that if there was a couple shoot and they prepared for it, Stephanie would get suspicious of the proposal.
We planned accordingly. We were going to pretend that we were the hotel staff taking Gerann and Stephanie out for a tour at sunrise. And during this trip we would take some souvenir photos as hotel staff...
We picked them up from their hotel before sunrise and took them on a ride under the balloons. We told them that we would only take a few souvenir photos.
When the balloons rose to the sky and the atmosphere was suitable for the proposal, Gerann proposed with our sign. Stephanie's surprise, excitement, happiness... It was unforgettable for us to immortalize these moments. As Stephanie and Gerann looked at each other in the unique and natural atmosphere of Cappadocia, their love was visible on their faces.
When we normally shoot couples or weddings, it is an unforgettable experience for us to share the excitement and happiness of those moments with our couples. Each couple's story and excitement is different. But capturing the natural emotions of a marriage proposal and recording them in our photos and films creates emotions that we cannot express in words.
